Before You Order: Legal and Eligibility Checklist
Heated tobacco is legal in the UAE and has been regulated since 2019. Ordering is simple, but a few rules apply to every buyer.
Minimum Age
Recent tobacco-control summaries list 18 as the minimum age to buy heated tobacco in the UAE. Some sellers set a higher limit of their own.
Rules can change, so always check the latest official guidance.
ID Verification
Keep your Emirates ID or passport ready. A responsible supplier will ask to see it at delivery.
No valid ID usually means no handover. This protects both you and the seller.
TEREA Needs an IQOS ILUMA Device
TEREA sticks work only with IQOS ILUMA devices. They do not fit older models.
Need a device? You can buy IQOS ILUMA devices in UAE and order your first sticks together.
Where You Can and Cannot Use It
UAE rules ban the use of these products in public places. Use your device only in permitted areas, such as private homes or designated zones.
Always follow the signs in malls, offices, and public buildings.
Packaging and Health Warnings
Legal tobacco products carry health warnings on the packaging. Authentic packs also show official tax markings and sealed wrapping.
Check each pack when it arrives. If something looks wrong, do not accept it.
Why Prices Are What They Are
The UAE applies a high excise tax on tobacco products. This is why prices look similar across reputable suppliers.
A price far below the market rate is a warning sign.
Health Notice
Heated tobacco products contain nicotine and are not risk-free. They are meant for adults who already use nicotine.
If you do not use nicotine, do not start.

Step-by-Step Guide: How to Order TEREA Sticks Online in Abu Dhabi

- Visible delivery time and fee details
- Working customer support

Not sure what to pick? See the flavor comparison below.
Step 3: Add to Cart and Check Minimum Order Value
Add your packs and open the cart. Some suppliers set a minimum order for Express Delivery.
If you are close to the limit, adding one more pack often costs less than a second delivery.
Step 4: Enter Your Exact Abu Dhabi Delivery Address
A clear address means a faster delivery.
Apartments: Building name, tower, floor, and unit number.
Villas: Community name, street, and villa number.
Offices: Company name, building, floor, and a reception contact.
Add a working phone number and a map pin if possible. The driver will call you on arrival.
Step 5: Choose Express 2-Hour Delivery
At checkout, select Express 2-Hour Delivery. Standard delivery is slower.
Delivery time can vary with traffic, weather, distance, and order volume. Island and outer-area addresses may take longer.
Step 6: Choose Your Payment Method
Many local suppliers offer cash on delivery or card on delivery. Check which options are available for your order before you confirm.
Keep the exact amount or your card ready. It speeds up the handoff.
Step 7: Confirm and Wait for the Call
Review your cart, flavors, address, and phone number. Then place the order.
Many suppliers send a confirmation by message or call. If you hear nothing, contact support.
Step 8: Receive and Inspect Your Order
When the driver arrives:
- Show your valid ID if asked.
- Check that the flavors match your order.
- Make sure packs are sealed and undamaged.
- Check for health warnings and tax markings.
- Pay and keep your receipt.
If a pack is damaged or wrong, tell the driver straight away. Reporting at the door is much easier than later.
Step 9: Reorder Before You Run Out
Once you find a favorite, keep a spare pack or two at home. That way, delivery becomes a planned refill, not an emergency.
